DSDT is a professional dance-theater company dedicated to the creation of gorgeous, powerful evening-length work triggered by current social topics. Dance, Choreography, Theatre, Performance, Education, Writing, Directing Art of the Matter (AOTM) supports experimental art forms & educational outreach. We believe art and everyday life are not, in fact, separate events but Art is the human attempt to create paths through the challenges of life experience. AOTM acts as the umbrella for Studio 210, a low-cost rehearsal/performance facility located in SF’s Mission District for 40 years and home to hundreds of independent artists and arts organizations; and Deborah Slater Dance Theater (DSDT), a professional dance-theater company dedicated to the creation and production of evening-length works that explore timely social issues, and as fiscal sponsor for up and coming creators.
