GHC was founded in 2009 on the belief that leadership is the most powerful lever for change. That belief still guides our work, and our mission remains to mobilize the next generation of health equity leaders. At every step in our 15-year journey, we’ve adapted and innovated — one of the core leadership practices we teach our fellows — to meet the world’s needs. After 15 transformative years and cultivating over 1,200 health equity leaders, we’ve decided to shift from our traditional placement-based fellowship model to a new Leadership Accelerator model in Africa. We’re excited about how this model will enable us to bring our curriculum, resources, and global network to reach more emerging leaders in more places. To all the passionate applicants who were hoping to join the GHC community this year — thank you for all the time and energy spent on your inspiring applications.
