In Anne Meinke’s Algebra 2 course, students designed a carnival game in order to observe the difference between experimental probability–the observed chance of something “actually” happening in real life and theoretical probability–the probability that we can calculate based on a mathematical model. They invited community members to stop by their class to play their games and later analyze their data. (fb)
