The Kruckeberg Botanic Garden Foundation is dedicated to sustaining the legacy of Art Kruckeberg and family by demonstrating how plants enrich our lives and our community. The Foundation maintains a rare plant nursery to provide education for adults and children through classes, summer camps and outreach teaching at local schools.

Home - Kruckeberg Botanic Garden WELCOME TO THE GARDEN Kruckeberg Botanic Garden KROOkuhburg is a fouracre public garden that contains a unique blend of Pacific Northwest native plants and unusual exotics set in a naturalistic wooded setting. It may take multiple visits to see the more than 2000 species which include native and exotic conifers hardwoods rhododendrons magnolias ferns and groundcovers. Several trees are the largest or most rare in the state and birdwatchers have identified more than 40 bird species while visiting the Garden. The Kruckeberg Botanic Garden is a living collection of native and rare plants that serves as a gathering place for the community to learn be inspired and feel connected to the natural world.

Fall is the perfect time to plant most trees and shrubs and we’ll be bringing you increased selection of your favorites and interesting new discoveries to add to your garden.
