We at Extra Credit for Teachers are dedicated to supporting educators who invest so much of their own time and money to educate our children. Nearly all American public school teachers spend their own money, without reimbursement, on classroom supplies and teaching aides. With public-education salaries already at such a low level, many struggle. Education should be our nations top priority. Education is necessary for competing in global markets and leading a fruitful, enriched life. There are no downsides to a good education, and it all starts with our teachers. Why not give them the appreciation and thanks they deserve?
