Catie died from acute liver failure due to sustained use of acetaminophen (Tylenol®). If you use Tylenol® or medication with acetaminophen, please FOLLOW so you can be aware of the side effects and safety precautions, so we can prevent further tragedies. Catie's Cause educates and provides information and resources to the general public to create awareness around the safe use of acetaminophen and other over the counter pain relievers to help avert negative consequences of unintended mis-use . We also provide wellness information to avert the need for pain medications.

How is this never talked about. Imagine treating pain with a medication deemed generally safe and suddenly you start to feel incredibly unwell and wonder why. Because youre feeling even worse you might even take more of that pain medication.
