Today is Menstrual Hygiene Day 🌍💖 In 2016, our founder met a woman who needed just one pad. That moment sparked our first initiative: Help Her, Period — ensuring no one is denied dignity because of their period. Since then, The Beauty Initiative has: ✨ Donated millions of period products ✨ Served thousands across South Florida ✨ Partnered with schools, libraries, and shelters ✨ Launched Dignity Delivered & Beyond the Bookshelves ✨ Helped secure school funding for period supplies ✨ Brought menstrual education to global communities Menstrual equity matters — because no one should miss school, work, or suffer in silence due to lack of access. Periods shouldn't pause potential. Imagine lugging your laundry to the laundromat and hearing, “Keep your change, it’s on us!” That’s the heart behind our Community Laundry Day. We started this because students deserve clean clothes to show up to school and adults need them to show up to work. It’s not just about laundry. It’s about DIGNITY. Serving Broward County especially 33311 means everything to us. Huge thanks to BankUnited iCare and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. - Chi Psi Omega Chapter for donating all the supplies and showing up with love.
