The Pawleys Island Concert Band The South Strand39s Premier Community Band ABOUT US JOIN US The Pawleys Island Concert Band is a wholly open community band serving adult amateur musicians throughout Horry and Georgetown County. We expect that band participants either have or plan to achieve a minimum HS level of playing ability. Some of our bandmates are professional musicians music teachers andor college trained musicians most arent. Most of the band are folks who played in high school or college and want to continue doing so.
