The Hazelwood neighborhood of Pittsburgh is a food desert. We serve this area several surrounding neighborhoods by providing food programs, such as Hazelwood-Greenfield Meals on Wheels and Community Lunches on Monday through Friday. To bring fresh, healthy food into the Greater Hazelwood community (of Pittsburgh, PA) at reasonable prices to meet the need for fresh foods, healthy options and social support in an urban food desert.
