Friends of West Slope Community Library

The Friends of West Slope Community Library is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the West Slope Community Library. Located in the West Slope/Raleigh Park neighborhood of Portland, Oregon, the library is a proud member of the Washington County Cooperative Library Services (WCCLS) system.

Mission and Activities

The mission of the Friends organization is to increase public interest and participation in the library, while providing supplemental funding for its programs, services, and activities. These efforts help enhance the library's collection, support educational and engaging community programs, and fund special items like furniture and equipment that are not covered by the library's annual budget.
