Inspiring research, creativity, & learning by connecting the University of South Florida community to relevant and high-quality information. 🤘 Distinctive collections, information service innovation, and thought leadership. #WeveGotABookForThat The Timberly Trust, Inc., a 501(c)3 with the State of Florida, has as its mission to preserve, in perpetuity, the Moseley Homestead and its environs in as natural a state as possible, as a National Register of Historic Places early pioneer Florida homestead (known as “The Nest). The Trust was created to protect the house's exterior and interior, accessory buildings, and the diverse natural Florida flora and fauna that comprise the homestead's landscape. The Trust works to provide the historical context about the Nest, the people and community associated with it, and the architecture, art, décor, and how the site relates to the environmental surroundings.

Digital Heritage Emergency USF Libraries Hours by campus Search the USF Libraries SERVICES RESEARCH COLLECTIONS ABOUT Connect Digital Heritage From 20162024 the USF Libraries collaborated with Drs. Lori Collins and Travis Doering to develop a strategy using advanced Reality Capture 3D and spatial documentation techniques to record heritage sites landscapes and objects worldwide and to disseminate and preserve the resulting digital heritage content as library collections. In 2025 we began the process of transitioning these activities to the Digital Initiatives team and are actively restructuring accordingly. Did you know that USF Libraries' Special Collections has an archive of historic USF skateboarding photographs. While it didn't originate in Tampa Bay, skateboarding was popularized in the area thanks to USF students back in the 1960's. In fact, while earning a master’s degree in urban planning from USF, Joel Jackson designed what would become the first public skatepark in Florida– nicknamed the "Bro Bowl.
