The Hague School’s mission is to empower and prepare secondary students through collaborative dialogue, self-directed learning, and a rigorous, college-preparatory curriculum. The Hague School Take a Seat at Our Table Engaging Connecting Thriving The Hague School is the only independent high school in the Hampton Roads region of Virginia offering the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. Small by design we use the Harkness method of instruction which has no more than 14 students in each class engaging in academic discussions with one another around large conference tables. A historic building with the city as our campus . Our historic building is embedded in a community rich with educational resources within walking distance of Ghents Chrysler Museum Nauticus the dArt Center and downtown Norfolk.
