The recipient(s) of this scholarship will receive paid tuition expenses, to attend Champions Barber Institute, after the completion of their senior year of high school.

SCHOLARSHIP FUND FOR THE BARBERS OF TOMORROW Making a Dash Was founded to provide barber college scholarships for the atrisk youth in the African American community of Portland. OR. Our goal is to assist students with their carrer ambitions build upon Portlands historical black culture and add to the socioeconomic development of our city generations to come. In 2018 nearly one third of African Americans students lived in poverty 32 The percentage of lived in households where the highest level of education attained by either parent was a bachelors or higher.
