GREAT POND MOUNTAIN CONSERVATION TR

Hikers using the Hatchery/ Don Fish road access: please observe the signs and yellow gate on the road immediately after the hatchery. The drivers of these 2 cars decided the sign didn't apply to them- and left the gate open. The gate is closed in the spring when driving on the road causes damage. We have invested a lot of money in this road ($13k last year), as have the people who live on it. If you don't want to walk in from the Hatchery, there are 3 other trailheads from which to enjoy the Wildlands. (fb)
