Plot twist: I didn’t get invited to Crayola Experience for my coloring skills (though my stick figures are top-tier). Instead, I’ll be hanging out at Sensory Sunday, hosted by the amazing folks at Hank’s Friends—an event created just for kids with autism and other sensory needs. It’s quieter, calmer, and full of kindness (and yes, still full of color). I’ll have my Kelly & Kelso books, plushies, and maybe even a crayon or two tucked behind my ear for dramatic effect.
