Home - Northern Forest Center We believe in the New Forest Future We invest in people and communities to secure regional prosperity and a resilient landscape. The 30millionacre Northern Forest is the foundation of that vibrant future. Stretching across northern Maine New Hampshire Vermont and New York the Northern Forest is home to 2 million people a destination for worldclass outdoor adventure and a 33 billion piston in the regions economy. The forest is a source of clean air clean water and renewable forest products and its forests store billions of tons of carbon.

These floors are more than 100 years old and are now given new life. Instead of ripping them out, our construction team in Millinocket poured many many days of work into scraping, sanding, and patching these original wood floors that will soon bring character and history into new apartments on Penobscot Avenue, Millinocket's main street.
