Last Friday, we had a RECORD-BREAKING Jogathon! Thank you to all who participated! 💚 When we say record-breaking, we mean it! Our community came together and gave over $42K to support our Beginning School, Lower School, Youth Sports, and Family Association! THANK YOU! 🎉 Our students gave it their all, running a total of 3,298 laps...that's 824.5 miles! That's the distance from Tacoma, WA, to Las Vegas, NV! Each week, one senior from the Class of 2025 will be highlighted on our social media! 🎉 This week’s senior spotlight is Samuel V. '25. 🎓 Samuel has been a Tarrier for 5 years and has participated in cross country, track and field, and tennis. What is your favorite CWA tradition? My favorite tradition at CWA is PeachFuzz. What has been your favorite off-campus experience with CWA? Backpacking into the Enchanted Valley for Outdoor Ed during my sophomore year. What is a lesson you have learned during your time at CWA? I learned that good things take time. That while we may struggle in the beginning of something, over time, if we just continue to work hard and persevere, things get better. Do you have any hopes or wishes for this year? I am hoping to graduate and finally get uninterrupted time in the gym. Samuel would like to give a shout out to Kavae.
