Save Mashpee Wakeby Pond Alliance Receive Our Communications Join Our Facebook Group Donate to Our Group The Save MashpeeWakeby Pond Alliance is a coalition of concerned citizens who love the pond and are determined to ensure its preservation protection and enhancement as a recreational economic and cultural focal point for our community. We have witnessed significant degradation of the pond in recent years due to an increase of nutrients from human activity. This has caused several cyanobacteria bloom events which triggered public health advisories to stay out of the water. We cannot and will not let our pond deteriorate any further and must restore it to its former glory so that future generations can fully enjoy its bounties for years to come.
