Equity.Period. seeks to recognize and remove existing barriers to safe, comfortable menstruation. We offer period products free-of-charge to those in need, enabling them to pursue their education, career, and life unhindered by menstruation. In parallel, we encourage candid discussion of menstruation, period products, and their stigma. We strive to end the shame of menstruation and ensure menstruators can advance with equality and dignity.

Period poverty is when menstruators do not have the resources necessary to purchase period products such as pads and tampons. Period products are considered luxury items and therefore are not covered by supplemental programs like SNAP or WIC.
