Home - Helena Mineral Society The Mission of TheHelenaMineralSociety is to stimulate interest in the study of mineralogy geology and in the collection and preservation ofmineralsand geological specimens. We encourage interest in the collecting of rocks gems crystalsmineralsand learn how to properly collect these specimens in an ethical and responsible way. We teach how to work the materials gathered as lapidary artists. We function on a nonpolitical amateur basis to develop a hobby and promote good fellowship among our members.
