Friends and family gathered today in the Dayspring Pond Room to honour Kathy Kelly as she celebrates her 80th birthday. After a lovely lunch, we took time to express our gratitude for Kathy and share the impact she has had on our lives over the years. We exchanged many wonderful stories and our favourite memories, highlighting how she has helped shape our experiences at L'Arche Daybreak. Her passion for nature and camping, along with her love and affection for people, were common themes in our stories today. We are so incredibly grateful for Kathy as she continues to be an inspiration to us all. Wishing her the happiest of birthdays! This week we welcome Leny & Jay into Intentional membership here at Daybreak. At the Dayspring we named the gifts & contributions of both Leny and Jay as they were accompanied & blessed by members of their households. Leny is House Leader at Red House and Jay currently supports both Brookwood and Stephenson houses.
