It is undoubtedly a terrifying time for the 2SLBTQ+ community. In times like these, we know that small, grassroots queer organizations are often able to make the most meaningful, direct impact for those they serve - but they are also some of the groups that suffer most (while also being passed over by major funding institutions). This is the very problem that inspired Tegan and Sara Foundation’s Community Grants, launched in 2020 at the onset of COVID-19 to provide rapid response support to grassroots queer organizations. We’re honored to announce our 2025 open call for grants between $1,500-5,000 to support more small 2SLGBTQ+ groups in the U.S. and Canada in this unprecedented time. Applications are open now.
