Introduction

New Haven Ballet is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Connecticut. Founded in 1985 by Noble Barker, it has established itself as a premier institution for classical dance training in the Greater New Haven area.

Performance and Company

• The New Haven Ballet Company provides intermediate and advanced students (Levels 5-8) with enhanced training and performance opportunities. It has worked with celebrated choreographers and dancers from prestigious ballet companies such as the New York City Ballet and Boston Ballet. The Company performs a diverse repertoire, including classical ballets like Giselle, Le Corsaire, and Swan Lake, as well as contemporary pieces.
• Performances are held at esteemed venues such as the Shubert Theatre in New Haven, where the Company stages annual spring performances and participates in local festivals.
