KANA strives to empower the Kurdish community in the US and Canada, promote education among Kurdish American youth, educate the American public about Kurdish issues, and engage in humanitarian work. Specifically, KANA seeks to empower the Kurdish community, educate the American public on the Kurdish issue, promote Kurdish culture through a variety of means, and engage in humanitarian work to support people in need including refugees (Kurds and their allies) who have had to flee their home countries.
