Living Art, NFP is a 501c3 Cultural Arts & Education Organization specializing in hacking the mojo of performing art for application in life off the stage. We create original works of theatre, film, music, and literature that inspire, educate, and transform our audiences and students. Our works and courses invite individuals to become more conscious of the power of their own lives. We create new culture by inspiring folks to live their own art out loud! The Living Art is a home for performing & teaching artists to perform, train, & teach as they hone their craft. With practical application, we use art to transform society. Further, we believe that arts education is fundamental to educating the whole human being. Developing an educational model and process founded on arts principles and cultivating student creativity is the long-term cultural mission of Living Art, NFP. To this end, The Uhuru Institute (TUI) is the flagship “un-school" of The Living Art. Our educational mission is to use the arts to help reeducate the world in the art of being human. Our students will change the world because we teach them first to change themselves.
