Mission and Vision

The mission of Emerge Broward is to identify emerging leaders and young professionals in Broward County, connect them with each other and established community leaders, develop their ability to serve as community trustees, and engage them within the community. The organization's vision is to be the leading entity for young professionals, maximizing impact by promoting personal, professional, and leadership development, fostering a strong community network, facilitating personal and professional connections, and serving as a catalyst for economic growth[1].

Emerge Broward is structured around four autonomous committees:

• Identify Committee: Focuses on membership recruitment and retention through community promotion and social events.
• Connect Committee: Organizes regular social and networking events with educational components.
• Develop Committee: Offers ongoing educational opportunities for skill and knowledge development.
• Engage Committee: Provides access to community service opportunities to build community trusteeship.

Membership and Events

Emerge Broward offers annual membership for $50, providing access to member-exclusive events, committee involvement, and professional development opportunities. Members can participate in various monthly events, including Meet and Greets, educational seminars, and community service projects[4][5]. Once members reach the age of 36, they can transition into the organization's Alumni Program, which offers continued networking opportunities and engagement with current members[1].
