We are proud to collaborate & partner with the VAIL Center for Independent Living (VAIL) on the South Texas Employment Collaborative where we are bringing inclusive career exploration to life with comprehensive job tours! Yesterday students & young adultsparticipated in immersive employment tours at DHR Health Transplant Institute, the main campus, and @bridges in mission! These future leaders experienced real-world workplace environments and enjoyed a hosted lunch & snacks thanks to our generous hosts. The results speak volumes: 100% of students reported having clearer career goals after the tours 4 employers have already committed to hosting future job tours! Through the same project, we also conducted HR mock interviews at RGV H.I.R.E.S. Inclusive Job Fair Networking Event a few weeks where we were, preparing students and job seekers to meet the growing workforce needs across South Texas, especially in support of individuals with disabilities. We appreciate the ongoing partnership with VAIL Center for Independent Living, which has been instrumental in making RGV H.I.R.E.S. Hidalgo County, a Job Fair and Networking Event, a resounding success.
