The Louisiana State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) is conducting a survey to develop a new Statewide Preservation Plan for 2026-2030. Input from preservation constituents & the general public is essential to developing a plan that will truly represent & serve all and identify areas which receive funding. The survey includes 22 multiple choice questions that can be completed in less than 7 minutes, with the option to write in more input if you wish & sign up for any follow ups to the survey. History The Louisiana Trust for Historic Preservation was founded for cultural and educational purposes pertaining to historic preservation. The founders understood that an organized statewide network of preservationists was a critical component to promote the preservation of the diverse culture and historic resources of Louisiana through education technical assistance outreach and advocacy. The Louisiana Trust for Historic Preservation is the statewide partner of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
