Heart of Gold Shelter is 501c3 nonprofit organization founded in 2020. Heart of Gold Shelter mission is foster economic independence for battered women that transition out of the shelter and into the workforce. The mission of Heart of Gold Shelter is to foster economic independence for women who have experienced domestic violence. We support their transition from prison or shelters into the workforce by providing casual attire for job interviews, court dates, and other occasions, as well as essential tools for job readiness.
