This Mental Health Awareness Month, we’re shining a light on Seeking Safety, our evidence-based group supporting young people navigating trauma and substance use. So far, 65 youth have participated, and 45% have reported improved mental health symptoms—a powerful reminder that change is possible when care is consistent. All month long, we’ve honored mental wellness in meaningful ways, including: 💚 Green ribbons for hope, growth & renewal 🎨 Tie-dye to remind us that all emotions are welcome 🍿 Movie nights with Inside Out 2 & stovetop popcorn 🏀 Open Gym as a space for release & connection 🌞 Daily affirmations for brighter self-talk 🍽️ Shared meals & sweet surprises—because joy is healing, too At My Friend’s Place, we’re building a community where young people feel safe, supported & seen—this month and every month.
