• Business Directory: Spicy Green Book maintains a comprehensive directory of Black-owned businesses across the U.S., currently listing over 400 establishments in 36 states. This directory is available through their app and website, allowing users to discover and support these businesses easily.
• Free Marketing Services: The organization offers free creative marketing services, including professional photography, videography, and design. These services are provided by a team of volunteers who help amplify the brands of listed businesses.
• Networking and Events: Spicy Green Book organizes in-person events to celebrate Black-owned businesses, providing them with opportunities to expand their customer base and network within different markets.

History

The organization was created in response to the challenges faced by Black-owned businesses in gaining visibility and accessing markets. The founder, Danilo Batson, recognized the need for a more structured platform than social media posts or spreadsheets to support these businesses.
