Search and Rescue Exercise (SAREX) 2025 concludes today with a full debriefing among all state and federal participants. SAREX (Search and Rescue Exercise) 2025 continues with a day of staged rescues on land and in water. Various scenarios of distress are staged, and helicopter units are deployed in order to locate, make contact with, and rescue individuals to bring to safety. This exercise replicates real-world scenarios in order to better prepare for natural disasters and work with our state and federal partners on dynamic rescues that aren't routinely used. (fb)
