ARA was founded in 1975 in California by a group of Romanian intellectuals residing in USA. Every year, ARA organizes a Congress that provides an open forum for intellectuals of Romanian descent from all around the world and friends of Romania of all nationalities, to present their ideas, achievements and to discuss recent contributions to art and science.
