EHCF's mission is to provide very low-income children with a break from the heat and their surroundings to give them an opportunity that every child deserves: to simply play and have fun. Along the way, they learn new skills and discover new interests while living and interacting with people of different backgrounds, races, religion, and economic status. Our goal is permanent, positive and constructive change in every child we serve.

Home page | Echo Hill Campership Fund Welcome to The Echo Hill Campership Fund Children from all backgrounds find that spending a few weeks at Echo Hill provides them with a caring community of peers and adult counselors who can encourage and challenge them while also fostering friendships that last a lifetime. Echo Hills unique mix of freechoice daily activities spontaneous fun that is so often missing from daily life during the school year and cherished camp traditions builds a sense of community and belonging that is felt by new and returning campers alike. It is easy to see the significant impact Camp has on young people. As we watch our Campership kids year after year we know that the camp experience is even more important for the children we serve many of whom have never experienced the Chesapeake Bay and are confronted with economic challenges that would otherwise keep them from attending sleep away camp.
