Chapel of Hope Ministries, Inc.

The mission of COH is to fund and construct inmate chapels inside the fences of prisons operated by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. Chapels provide space for other faith-based ministries to minister, educate and mentor inmates for purposes of winning souls for our Lord Jesus Christ and bringing positve changes to inmate's lives by the power of the Holy Spirit.COH is committed to supporting the TDCJ Seminary and its training of offender Field Ministers (missionaries0 to be sent out to live and minister in other TDCJ units after graduation from a four year seminary training program. The offenders are taught at the TDCJ seminary by Professors from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminar (SWBTS) and will receive an accredited Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies from SWBTS. When missionaries are sent out to the mission field, they will need a church building to provide a safe sanctuary for praise, worship and education
