Extend-A-Care's mission is to support families, schools, employers, and communities by providing licensed child care for elementary-school children which is enriching and affordable. Its objectives are to enhance the development of children enrolled in the program, to support working families and enable low-income families to become self-supporting, to support employers' workforce needs, and to reduce the costs to the community of unsupervised latch key children or children in inadequate care arrangements.
