Friends of Yolo County Animal Services
Our mission is to improve the lives of animals, promote adoption, and support the community of Yolo County. Friends of YCAS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (EIN: 83-4254935). The Friends of the Yolo County Animal Services' primary objective is to assist the Yolo County Animal Services, Sheriff's Office of Yolo County, in its mission to improve the welfare of animals in Yolo County. Such assistance includes but is not limited to seeking donations and grants to enhance the conditions for animals during the time they are in the care of the County, either in the shelter facility or in foster, by increasing the rate of positive outcomes, by expanding spay-neuter programs for impounded, stray or owned animals and support of the training of shelter personnel and volunteer programs that provide enrichment and adoption outreach for companion animals from the shelter.
