Ouray Mountain Rescue Team The Ouray Mountain Rescue Team is deeply saddened by the tragic loss of our former team member Don Moden Jr. who died in an avalanche on January 7 2025 on the northwest flank of Red Mountain No. 3. Don was a dedicated member of our team from 2010 to 2017 during which he made lasting contributions to both our team and the broader community.
