The Ouray Mountain Rescue Team is deeply saddened by the tragic loss of our former team member Don Moden Jr. who died in an avalanche on January 7 2025 on the northwest flank of Red Mountain No. 3. Don was a dedicated member of our team from 2010 to 2017 during which he made lasting contributions to both our team and the broader community.
