SPAAT Our Mission The mission of Showplace Performing Arts Academy is to provide high school students and the community with an educational program that is intellectually and culturally stimulating aesthetically enriching and personally relevant with a strong emphasis on community building and responsible citizenship. Our Wonderful World of Art Showplace Performing Arts Academy will ensure all performers become proficient and wellrounded artists prepared for the challenges of dance music production and theatre at the professional level. Frequent collaboration with other art disciplines and academic subjects provides student with crossdisciplinary education therefore promoting development as artists and entrepreneurs. The curriculum will inspire artistic and academic excellence promoting understanding and knowledge of the cultural contexts and history of the arts while also preparing students in pursuance of professional careers.
