Soroptimist International of Valencia (SIV) is a nonprofit organization founded with the mission to improve the lives of women and girls through education, empowerment, and social and economic development. As part of the global Soroptimist International movement, SIV operates within the Soroptimist International of the Americas federation, contributing to a broad network dedicated to the advancement of women worldwide.

Establishment

SIV was chartered on December 3, 1974, and has since established itself as a vital part of the Santa Clarita Valley community. With a strong commitment to supporting local initiatives as well as participating in international programs, SIV has contributed nearly one million dollars to various causes aimed at enhancing women's and girls' lives.

Mission and Vision
