The Denovo Initiative

Mission

The Denovo Initiative aims to facilitate understanding and acceptance of our shared humanity by enabling storytellers to articulate new perspectives and ensuring these perspectives are widely disseminated. The thematic focus of supported projects often involves highlighting real-world obstacles, such as systemic or political barriers, that hinder progress and positive outcomes.

  • Dawn H. Bonder serves as President and Chief Executive Officer, bringing a background in law and business to her role. She has been instrumental in promoting storytelling as a tool for change and has been involved in several impactful projects.
  • Susan P. Potter acts as Head of Business Affairs and General Counsel, leveraging over 25 years of experience in legal fields to manage the organization's operational and compliance matters.
  • Janice L. Finley is the Chief Financial Officer, contributing her experience in health insurance and nonprofit management to the financial oversight of the foundation.
