EL PUEBLO PARK ASSOCIATION
El Pueblo Park Association is dedicated to preserve and support El Pueblo de Los Ángeles, the historic center of one of the oldest cities in the United States - founded by the Spanish in 1781 – now the modern City of Los Angeles. . Working closely with the city's El Pueblo de Los Ángeles Historical Monument, EPPA funds preservation, sponsors activities and exhibits, while routinely promoting educational opportunities for more than 2 million annual visitors, many of them school children. Surrounding the historic plaza are the city's first graveyard and 20 contributing historic structures, including the city's oldest church and house, exhibit halls, multiple museums serving their designated constituencies, plus Olvera Street, a colorful Mexican marketplace.
