Providing medical facilities with resources that can immediately be distributed to parents receiving a diagnosis of Down syndrome Cultivating a space where local families in the disability community can receive care and support along the journey Establishing programs and opportunities for individuals with disabilities to grow and share their passions with everyone Rising Kites Bag Program Each Rising Kites bag contains educational information specific to Down syndrome local and national resources that assist families in navigating a disability diagnosis and items of encouragement and connection to ensure that families know they are supported at the time of diagnosis. Rising Kites Coffee Rising Kites Coffee provides employment and job training opportunities to individuals with intellectual disabilities while fostering an inclusive environment in which all individuals are encouraged to see the gift that people with disabilities are to our world.
