As one of the most inclusive genealogical societies in the country, DAR has over 3,000 chapters across the United State and Internationally. A non-profit, non-political volunteer women's service organization with dedicated goals and objectives in promoting patriotism, preserving American History, and securing American's future through better education for children. The chapter' primary functio is to raise funds to support the goals an objectives of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution through community-based programs and projects with local schools military and veteran service and historical organizations. Funds are held in a California banking institution and managed by the chapter treasurer. Financial reports are provided the chapter membership and the CSSDAR.

There were 22 charter members Dorothy Kirkwood was the organizing regent. To date we have over 40members.
