Beat Transverse Myelitis Foundation
Our Mission is foremost to help patients of Transverse Myelitis and related conditions stop from falling despair but instead live enriched and abundant lives, particularly by awarding grants for creative adaptive adventures that many could not afford otherwise. Secondly, we must shorten the time it takes to diagnose TM. Too many of us go through months and years before accurate diagnosis, delaying what treatments are available. We'll reach out to doctors in smaller markets to deliver much needed information. Finally, we will aid the cause of medical research by encouraging our community to sign up for the TMA's Patient Registry. We will volunteer our personal histories so researchers working on answers for our maladies will always have a large base of paiteints with which to work.
