Living Word Ministries International Inc is aggressively involved in our local community. We have ongoing cooperative efforts with the local schools, police, as well as the county and local sub-district administrations.Occupational Development - The root cause of most problems in society stems from poverty. We can bring dignity to the lives of people by helping them to successfully attain skills that enable them to properly care for their families. We are endeavoring to help people by helping them to develop viable means of income to properly care for their families.

History
The organization's work with children began after Charlie and Cathy Milbrodt, founders of Living Word Ministries, discovered a pair of abandoned twin boys in the Golden Triangle region of Thailand in 1989. This event led to the establishment of the Abundant Life Children’s Home in 1994, which has grown to provide a safe environment and educational opportunities for children from backgrounds of poverty, orphanhood, and refugee status.
Governance and Leadership
Charles Milbrodt serves as the President of the organization. The nonprofit has faced challenges related to governance, including limited board independence with only three independent board members and a lack of comprehensive financial statement reviews or documentation of board meeting minutes. Despite these challenges, Living Word Ministries International continues to make a significant impact in Thailand through its extensive mission work.
