17Forward86 is a Coalition that represents the diverse interests of thousands of stakeholders in Sullivan County Orange County and beyond who understand that expanding Route 17 is vital to quality of life and the economic wellbeing of the Hudson Valley and Sullivan Catskills. The Coalition has been actively advocating for the expansion of Route 17 for more than four years and we are grateful to our members elected officials and representatives who have shared their time insight and other support to make this critical project a reality. We are now poised to move forward. We had a tremendous victory in securing 1 billion in the recent New York State budget to upgrade and dramatically improve the safety and reliability of Route 17 in Orange and Sullivan counties.
