The purpose of Medicine Games is to expand access to games for underserved Indigenous youth in the United States as a means of promoting mental health, building community, and enabling future success. The goals of Medicine Games are to: 1) Provide opportunities for underserved Indigenous youth to participate in games and gaming-related activities. 2) Foster healthy lifestyles and mental wellbeing among Indigenous youth through the promotion of mental, social, and physical activity. 3) Promote community building among Indigenous youth through organized games and gaming-related activities. 4) Enable future success by supporting education, leadership, and life skills development through games and gaming-related activities.
