The organization's primary purpose is to fight lawsuits filed by preservationists attempting to shut down all logging operations on the Allegheny National Forest. The organization is alsodevoted to supporting forestry, environmental stewardship and multiple-use management of the Allegheny National Forest and other public forest lands.
