At Free From Hardship L.A., we're on a mission to be an uplifting and transformative presence for those dealing with displacement, homelessness, and the heavy aftermath of incarceration. Our founder, Celest's, personal journey, marred by the pain of losing loved ones to substance abuse, years of incarceration, and childhood traumas, fuels FFHLAs purpose. We're not content with these lessons staying locked in one person's story. Our aim is to share these hard-won insights, offering a hand of empathy to help others rewrite their life stories and find newfound strength. We envision a Los Angeles where every individual impacted by displacement, homelessness, substance or domestic abuse, sexual exploitation, &/or the heavy burdens of incarceration finds a path to renewed hope and empowerment.
